How to Pay for PAGIBIG Fund Contribution Online: Guide for Overseas Filipinos

Although I live and work in the USA, I still want to pay for my PAGIBIG Fund contributions. SSS? Nevermind. I am no longer a believer of the SSS. That’s a long discussion so let’s save it for a different post.

If you are an OFW, maintaining your PAGIBIG Fund membership has many benefits. As a PAGIBIG Fund member, you are entitled to apply for a housing loan or a short term loan. The housing loan is very helpful when you decide to buy a lot, a house, or a condo unit. In addition, you can contribute more than the minimum required by law and this could serve as a savings account.

If you registered as an OFW and secured your OEC, you would have been asked to pay for your PAGIBIG Fund contribution at the POEA office. Before you can use the online payment facility, you will need the following;

  • PAGIBIG Fund Membership ID (MID) No.
  • Credit Card (Visa or Mastercard)

Go to https://www.pagibigfundservices.com/ and click on “Online Payment Facility.”

Enter your PAGIBIG Fund MID no. You won’t even need to put your name in because the system will retrieve it for you.

Choose the amount you want to pay.

There is a convenience fee that will be added on top of your contribution. You can also specify the period covered by your payment. If you have the budget for it, you can even pay for your contribution for the whole year!

Type in your mobile phone number (if you want to be notified by SMS) and your email address. Enter the captcha code to prove that you’re not a bot. It will then show a confirmation page of how your PAGIBIG Fund number, your name, mobile number, amount you are paying, for which month/s, and it will also show the merchant reference number.

Click Submit.

You will be taken to Pesopay, the payment gateway of PAGIBIG Fund. Click on either Visa or Mastercard and make sure that it corresponds to the credit card that you have.

Enter the card number, the name on the card, expiry date, and the card verification number.

Click Submit.

Don’t refresh the browser because you might interrupt the system. Wait until it finishes. The system will then generate an online receipt for your reference. This will also be sent to your email address.

To help you remember to pay your PAGIBIG Fund monthly, put it on the calendar on your smartphone. It will notify you when it’s time to pay your contribution.
